Maybe it’s me. I’ve tried several different loaves of Franz bread. (I think the Seven Grain is their best) but it just doesn’t work for me. I can’t tell if it’s the flavor, or the substance…the consistency, but I haven’t been able to enjoy this baker’s bread yet.
I’ve noticed that toasting the bread does make it a bit more enjoyable, but I think there’s something about the bread itself—it’s a big stringy and the consistency of the bread is apparently so foreign to what my inner-bread person is expecting, that I struggle to finish a loaf.
Whenever I have misgivings about a gluten-free product, I begin to doubt myself, and so I’m curious if you can please help me. What has been your experience with Franz bread. Do you use it?
