The people in the checkout line behind me simply had to wait.
Once, while traveling for business, I stopped at a Walmart in a small town in Colorado and being unable to find my favorite brand of gluten-free bread, I picked another and went to the checkout. The nice lady at the checkout told me that she was also gluten free and that I needed to try a new bread that was new to the store. She then asked everyone in the line behind me to wait and she then escorted me over to a different display that I hadn’t seen before, and introduced me to Canyon Bakehouse Bread. To oblige her enthusiasm, I dutifully purchased 2 loaves and have been a faithful customer since. My favorite is their Country White, but they have several different types of bread and I hope to post reviews of their other bread types here soon.
I purchase this bread at my local Walmart, and it seems to be normally available in many stores throughout the West where I live. The company is located in Colorado, so I’m not sure if they are a regional company or if they can be found throughout the country. If you’re looking for a great bread for making sandwiches, give this one a try.
