When you order from Jersey Mike’s, they’ll ask if your request is due to an allergy, or if it’s a preference. Your answer, no doubt, guides the sandwich preparation process.
While I love Jersey Mike’s and will always be a customer as often as I can, I find that the bun that is used is somehow just a bit too thick for me. As I attempt to enjoy my meal, I discover that the thickness of the bun overpowers the experience and takes away from the unique and refreshing ingredients of the sandwich. Because I’m so grateful to be enjoying a gluten-free sub, I feel an almost imperceptible responsibility to eat the bun, all of it, and to enjoy it, but in this effort, I do find myself struggling from time to time.
I will always eat Jersey Mike’s whenever I have the chance. I’m a regular customer!
