I remember joking once to a server at Red Lobster many years ago, that all I really wanted from their menu was a glass of water and some of their biscuits. If you’ve eaten at Red Lobster recently—or even a long time ago, you may still remember their delicious biscuits. As you’ve probably noticed lately, many restaurant chains are bringing some of their favorite menu items to the grocery aisle. and Red Lobster is no exception. Those memorable biscuits are now available, gluten free, right out of your own oven!
Naturally, I was very curious as I prepared these biscuits to see if this gluten-free version could measure up to the incredible biscuits that I remembered enjoying in their restaurant years ago. The directions were easy to follow and I was concerned that I had made some biscuits too small, and others too large, but to my relief, all turned out just fine. These gluten-free biscuits didn’t stay around our home for long and were gone in a flash.
I don’t live near a Red Lobster restaurant, and haven’t eaten at one in several years so I don’t know if the gluten-free version of their biscuits is available in their restaurants—does anyone know?
How Red Lobster was able to make their delicious biscuits gluten free, I have no idea, but I’m glad that they did and recommend this mix if you’re craving a delicious, savory biscuit…whether you enjoy with seafood or not!
Have you tried this mix? What do you think?
