I found these crackers at a small market in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I was intrigued by the whole idea of “purple rice”, but another reason I chose these crackers was the reasonable cost. The package is a bit smaller than others, but the price more than made up any difference. Thank you, Edward and Sons for making an affordable cracker!
After some quick research, by the way, I discovered that there really is purple rice. It’s apparently loaded with nutritional value!
While this is definitely a quality product, I was reminded that I’m not a huge fan of rice crackers. Generally speaking, they leave me without that wow factor that says, “I need another one of those!” I tried it with several different toppings and decided that peanut butter was my favorite. If you’re a fan of rice crackers, this one will not disappoint.
