This was an unexpected find at my local Walmart and because the price was reasonable, I decided to give it a try. I followed the instructions, even using real butter rather than cheating with margarine. The mixing process is quick and easy and I kept an eye on the baking progress through the oven window. In spite of my best efforts, the middle of the pan sunk a while before it was ready to take out.
Undeterred by the sunken middle of part of the treat, I was eager to see how it had turned out and I discovered that this is a very tasty and delicious treat. Those of you with more baking experience that mine, could probably diagnose and correct any issues much more quickly than I ever could. I’m anxious to try this brownie/blondie bar again to see if I can better luck with the collapsing middle. If you’re looking for a quick and easy treat to bake, that tastes delicious and that won’t cost you an arm and a leg, I like this one.
